Day 1: Your first stop, and where you can find a great variety of accommodation options, is Figueras, the capital of the Alt Empordà. There you can visit the house where the surrealist painter Salvador Dalí was born, as well as his famous museum, known worldwide for its red façade covered by thousands of pieces of bread.

Day 2: In the morning of the second day, a very good option is to visit the Natural Park of Cap de Creus, famous for its landscapes and cliffs. There you can enjoy small hiking trails with breathtaking views. Afterward you can visit the beautiful village of Portlligat, where you will find the House Museum of Salvador Dalí and Cadaqués, a beautiful coastal village, with a delicious dessert, unique in the world, the "Taps de Cadaqués".

Day 3: On your last day in this area, a very good option is to take a route by car to discover the most charming villages of the southern Costa Brava. 

Starting with Pals, a beautiful medieval village where you can visit its well-preserved old town. Continuing to Begur, a beautiful village known for its imposing castle and where you will find beautiful beaches. Then Palamós, the best place to have lunch in front of the sea, where you can enjoy delicious fresh seafood dishes. And finally finishing the route visiting one of the most beautiful gardens in the area, the gardens of Santa Clotilde, located in Lloret de Mar.

 

Recommendations: If you are going to visit this area, it is essential that you either come by car or rent one on your arrival to be able to move from one place to another in the most comfortable and quickest way.

El mejor mes para visitar esta zona es el mes de septiembre, pues aún seguir siendo uno de los meses más calurosos la densidad turística de la zona se reduce drásticamente. Para que aprovechéis al máximo vuestra estancia en esta zona aquí os dejamos una posible opción de ruta;

 

Día 1: La primera parada, y donde podréis encontrar opciones muy variadas de alojamiento, es Figueras, la capital, la comarca del Alt Empordà. Ahí podréis visitar la casa natal del pintor surrealista, Salvador Dalí, así como su museo, mundialmente conocido por su fachada roja recubierta por miles de panes.

Por la tarde una excelente opción es ir a visitar las ruinas de Ampurias, un yacimiento arqueológico al lado del mar donde podréis descubrir los restos de la ciudad griega de Emporion y los de la ciudad romana de Emporiae.

 

Día 2: Por la mañana del segundo día, una muy buena opción es ir a visitar el Parque Natural del Cap de Creus, famoso por sus paisajes y acantilados. Ahí podréis disfrutar de pequeñas rutas de senderismo con unas vistas impresionantes. Después podéis acercaros al bonito pueblo de Portlligat, donde se encuentra la Casa Museo de Salvador Dalí y a Cadaqués un precioso pueblo costero, con un delicioso postre único en el mundo los “Taps de Cadaqués”.

 

Día 3: En vuestro último día por esta zona una muy buena opción es hacer una ruta en coche para descubrir los pueblos más encantadores de la Costa Brava sur. Empezando por Pals, un precioso pueblo medieval donde podréis visitar su casco antiguo muy bien conservado. Continuando Begur, un bonito pueblo reconocido por su imponente castillo y donde encontraréis unas playas preciosas. Luego Palamós, el mejor sitio para almorzar frente al mar, donde podréis disfrutar de deliciosos platos de marisco fresco. Y finalmente acabando la ruta visitando uno de los jardines más bonitos de la zona, los jardines de Santa Clotilde, situados en Lloret de Mar.

 

Recomendaciones: Si vas a visitar esta zona sobre todo es esencial que o bien vengas en coche o bien en tu llegada alquiles uno para poder desplazarte de un sitio a otro de la manera más cómoda y rápida.
