Hello traveler! Today I present to you the capital of Spain, Madrid. A city that has everything you need to spend 4 fantastic days among art, good food, and streets of all kinds and charms. ¡Welcome to Madrid!.

Day 1: On this first day, you'll start by visiting the center of Madrid, with its fantastic Puerta del sol, a place where many movies and series have been filmed. It's also where you'll find the so-called Km 0, the exact spot where all the roads of this country are said to begin. Here, you'll also see the most emblematic building of the square, Casa de Correos, where the New Year's Eve bells ring in the city. You'll also find the emblem of the city, the Bear and the Tree.

In the afternoon, we'll take a walk along Gran Vía, passing through Callao and ending not far from there by going to see the musical "The Lion King."

At night, head to Plaza España and go up to the Hotel Río to have a drink while enjoying Madrid at your feet.

Day 2: This second day will be more relaxed. You'll start by visiting the triangle of art, consisting of the Prado Museum, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, sites of great cultural interest where you'll see great works illustrated by the most prestigious authors who have passed through this territory over time. Afterward, you can take a stroll through the Retiro Park, with the option of taking a boat ride on the lake in the center of the park. Walking through the park, you'll be near the famous Puerta de Alcalá, a grand gate that will take you back in time as it was commissioned by King Carlos III.

In the afternoon, you can visit the Royal Palace, where you'll see firsthand how royalty lived many years ago. Afterward, you can go see the Temple of Debod while enjoying the sunset.

Day 3: On this last day, start by fueling up with some churros and chocolate at the famous Chocolatería San Ginés, very close to Plaza del Sol. Later, you can visit Plaza Mayor, a grand square where you can have a drink at one of the bars surrounding the square.

For lunch, you can visit the San Miguel Market, an old market where you can taste any of the delicacies it houses inside.

In the afternoon, head towards Castellana, passing through many of its grand squares like Cibeles or Plaza de Neptuno, and if you're a lover of football, both past and modern, you should visit the Real Madrid Futbol Club stadium, currently the best football club in the country. They offer a tour of the club's history where you can see where the players pass through and the trophies won by the club.

For dinner, I recommend going to Plaza Mayor to finish by having a calamari sandwich, one of the most typical dishes of the city that you shouldn't miss.

Day 4: On the fourth and final day, start by visiting the Latina neighborhood where you can see the Mercado de la Cebada while enjoying some tapas in a lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, you can visit the Malasaña neighborhood, with its emblematic Plaza Dos de Mayo and its continuous vintage and bohemian atmosphere from the moment you enter the neighborhood.

To conclude your trip to Madrid, you can reserve a table at one of the many traditional restaurants to try typical Madrid cuisine such as “cocido” madrileño or “callos” a la madrileña.

¡Hola viajero! Hoy te presento la capital de España, Madrid. Una ciudad que tiene todo lo que necesites para pasar 4 días fantásticos entre arte, buena comida y calles de toda clase y encantos. ¡Bienvenido a Madrid!

Día 1: Este primer día comenzarás visitando el centro de Madrid, con su fantástica Puerta del sol, lugar donde se han grabado muchísimas películas y series. Es donde se encuentra también el denominado Km 0, sitio exacto donde se dice que empiezan todas las carreteras de este país. En ella veremos también el edificio más emblemático de la plaza, la Casa de Correos, lugar donde se dan las campanadas de fin de año en la ciudad. Allí también encontrarás el que representa el emblema de la ciudad, el Oso del Madroño.

Por la tarde aprovechamos a ir por la Gran Vía pasando por Callao y finalizando no muy lejos de allí yendo a ver el musical del Rey León.

Por la noche una excelente opción es ir a la Plaza España y subirás al Hotel Río a tomar algo mientras tienes Madrid a tus pies.

Día 2: En este segundo día, será más relajado. Empezarás visitando el Triángulo del arte, compuesto por el Museo del Prado, el Reina Sofía y el museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, sitio de gran interés cultural donde verás grandes obras ilustradas por los autores más prestigiosos que han pasado a lo largo del tiempo por este territorio. Saliendo puedes dar un paseo por los jardines del Parque del Retiro, con la opción de dar un paseo en barquita por el lago del centro del parque. Dando una vuelta por el parque estarás cerca de la famosa Puerta de Alcalá, una gran puerta que te remontará al pasado ya que fue mandada construir por el rey Carlos III.

Por la tarde puedes ir a visitar el palacio real, el cual vas a ver con tus propios ojos cómo se vivió hace muchísimos años la gente de la realeza. Saliendo puedes ir a ver el Templo de Debod mientras ves el atardecer.

Día 3: Este último día comenzarás cogiendo fuerzas desayunando unos churros con chocolate en la famosa Chocolatería de San Ginés, muy cerca de la Plaza del Sol. Más tarde podrás ir a la Plaza Mayor, una gran plaza donde tomar algo en alguno de los bares que rodean la plaza.

Para comer podrás ir y así visitar el Mercado de San Miguel, un antiguo mercado donde podrás comer cualquiera de las delicatessen que alberga en su interior.

Por la tarde podrás dirigirte hacia la Castellana, recorriendo muchas de sus grandes plazas como la Cibeles o Plaza de Neptuno, y si eres un amante del fútbol tanto pasado como moderno, deberás visitar el estadio del Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, actual mejor club de fútbol del país. Para ello cuentan con una visita por la historia del club y donde podrás ver por donde pasan los jugadores y los trofeos conseguidos por el club.

Para cenar te recomiendo ir a la Plaza Mayor a terminar cenando un bocadillo de calamares, uno de los platos más típicos de la ciudad y que no podías dejar de lado.

Día 4: El cuarto y último día, puedes empezar visitando el barrio de la Latina donde podrás ver el Mercado de la Cebada mientras tomas unas tapas con buen ambiente. Por la tarde puedes visitar el barrio de Malasaña, con su Plaza dos de Mayo como sitio emblemático y su continuo ambiente vintage y bohemio desde que entras al barrio.

Para terminar el viaje a madrid puedes reservar en alguno de los muchos restaurantes tradicionales para probar comida típica madrileña como puede ser el cocido madrileño o los callos a la madrileña.

Recomendaciones: Madrid tiene un clima caracterizado por veranos calurosos e inviernos fríos de modo que las mejores épocas para visitar esta ciudad son primavera y otoño. Por otra parte, aunque el sistema de metro de Madrid, es eficiente y cubre la mayoría de las zonas de interés turístico, la mejor manera de moverte por la capital española es andando pues de esta manera podrás descubrirla a fondo.
