Hello again traveler! Today we bring you one of Europe's most historically rich contemporary destinations: Berlin, Germany's vibrant capital. This city is full of contrasts, and you'll be immersed in a curious mix of the remains of its past and its eccentric modern architecture. With warmer temperatures and longer days, summer is the best time to visit. Berlin also comes alive during this season with a wide variety of festivals and open-air concerts.

Day 1: To start your trip, the first stop is undoubtedly the Brandenburg Gate, without a doubt one of the most iconic symbols of Berlin. Next, just 5 minutes away you will find the Reichstag, the German parliament, a building with an impressive architecture, where we recommend you to enter to access its glass dome from where you will have a breathtaking view of the city.

After your visit to the parliament, a visit to the Holocaust Memorial, a moving tribute to the victims of this tragedy, is a must.

In the afternoon, an excellent option is to visit the famous Checkpoint Charlie, one of the most famous crossroads between East and West Berlin during the Cold War. Afterwards, you can visit the Jewish Museum, a museum with numerous exhibits that will give you a deeper and more poignant look into the history and influence of the jewish community in this country.

Day 2: On the morning of your second day in the German capital, you can visit the East Side Gallery, a section of the Berlin Wall that has been converted into an open-air art gallery with 130 painted murals, including the world-famous Bruderkuss (Brotherhood Kiss).

In the afternoon, if you fancy a taste of German gastronomy, you can visit the Boxhagener Platz market.

In the afternoon, if you are passionate about the history of the Cold War and want to delve deeper into life in East Germany, we recommend a visit to the GDR Museum. This fascinating museum offers a detailed and moving look at everyday life under the communist regime, from politics and economics to culture and family life. If not, another great option is to visit the Museum of Modern Art (Hamburger Bahnhof) or the National Gallery (Alte Nationalgalerie), which house an immense collection of masterpieces from impressionism to conceptual art.

To end your day you can visit the Kreuzberg district, known for its multicultural atmosphere and lively nightlife.

Day 3: On your last day in this city, we recommend you to visit the Tiergarten Park, here you will definitely make a stop at the imposing Memorial to the Fallen of the Red Army, at the Victory Column.

In the afternoon, you can not leave the city before visiting Charlottenburg Palace, an architectural masterpiece from the 17th century, where you will find flowerbeds and even picturesque ponds.

Recommendations: If you want to visit the parliament, we advise you to book your ticket in advance so you don't miss out on access to the glass dome. On the other hand, if you visit this capital you cannot miss the currywurst and the schnitzel, traditional German dishes that will not disappoint you.

¡Hola de nuevo viajero! Hoy te traemos una de las ciudades europeas con mayor riqueza histórica contemporánea: Berlín, la vibrante capital de Alemania. En esta ciudad está repleta de contrastes, te sumergirás en una curiosa mezcla entre encontrar desde los restos de su pasado y su excéntrica arquitectura moderna. Con temperaturas más cálidas y días prolongados, el verano es la mejor época para visitar esta ciudad. Además, durante esta estación, Berlín cobra vida con una amplia variedad de festivales y conciertos al aire libre.

Día 1: Para empezar tu viaje, la primera parada indiscutible es visitar la Puerta de Brandemburgo, sin lugar a duda uno de los símbolos más icónicos de Berlín. Seguidamente, a tan solo 5 minutos encontrarás el Reichstag, el parlamento alemán, un edificio con una arquitectura impresionante, donde te aconsejamos entrar para acceder a su cúpula de vidrio desde donde tendrás unas vistas impresionantes de la ciudad.

Después de tu visita al parlamento, es visita casi obligatoria el Memorial del Holocausto, un conmovedor homenaje a las víctimas de esta tragedia.

Por la tarde una excelente opción es visitar el conocido Checkpoint Charlie, uno de los cruces más famosos entre lo que fue el Berlín Este y el Berlín Oeste durante la Guerra Fría. Seguidamente, puedes visitar el Museo Judío, un museo con numerosas exposiciones que te proporcionara una mirada más profunda y conmovedora, obre la historia y la influencia de la comunidad judía en este país.

Día 2: En la mañana de tu segundo día en la capital alemana, puedes visitar el East Side Gallery, un tramo del Muro de Berlín que ha sido convertido en una galería de arte al aire libre con 130 murales pintados, entre los cuales se destaca el mundialmente conocido, Bruderkuss (Beso entre hermanos).

Por el mediodía, si te apetece conocer un poco de la gastronomía alemana, puedes visitar el Mercado de Boxhagener Platz.

Por la tarde, si te apasiona la historia de la Guerra Fría y quieres profundizar en la vida en la Alemania Oriental, te recomendamos una visita al Museo de la RDA. Este fascinante museo ofrece una mirada detallada y conmovedora a la vida cotidiana bajo el régimen comunista, desde la política y la economía hasta la cultura y la vida familiar. Si no es el caso, otra muy buena opción es visitar el Museo de Arte Moderno (Hamburger Bahnhof) o la Galería Nacional (Alte Nationalgalerie), estos museos albergan una inmensa colección de obras maestras desde el impresionismo hasta el arte conceptual.

Para terminar tu día puedes visitar el Barrio de Kreuzberg, conocido por su ambiente multicultural y su vida nocturna animada.

Día 3: En tu último día en esta ciudad, te aconsejamos visitar el Parque Tiergarten, aquí sin duda hacer una parada en el imponente Monumento a los Caídos del Ejército Rojo, en la Columna de la Victoria. 

Por la tarde, no puedes irte de la ciudad sin visitar el Palacio de Charlottenburg, una obra maestra arquitectónica del siglo XVII, donde encontrarás parterres hasta pintorescos estanques.  

Recomendaciones:  Si quieres visitar el parlamento, te aconsejamos reservar con anticipación la entrada para no quedarte sin acceso a la cúpula de vidrio. Por otra parte, sin visitas esta capital no puedes perderte el currywurst y el schnitzel, platos tradicionales alemanes que no te decepcionaran.
