Recommendations: We recommend waking up early each day and starting your walk first thing in the morning, so you can make the most of each afternoon to visit each point along the way. Wear comfortable clothing, carry only the essentials in a good mountain backpack, and avoid luxuries. From our experience walking the Camino de Santiago, we also recommend staying in hostels designed specifically for pilgrims (people who walk the Camino de Santiago). Prices for hostels and guesthouses are around €15 per night. Stay hydrated and cool off during the walk to avoid heat stroke and fatigue. And most importantly, enjoy the experience and the landscapes. Until next time, traveler!
